Slow Horses is an adaptation of Mick Herron‘s novel of the same name.
It focuses on disgraced British intelligence agents.
In the first season they are involved in a kidnapping case, while in the second season they are involved in Russian espionage.
The plot moves very slowly, but the further it goes, the more interesting it becomes.
The mastery of tone is perfect in both comic moments and suspenseful sequences.
The real star of the series is chief Jackson Lamb, played by an extraordinary Gary Oldman.
I would add nothing more than to recommend watching this series that perfectly combines thriller and comedy.
