Green Day

Green Day have declared that Saviors is their best album.

I don't know if it is.

It certainly ranks among the best.

It's been a long time since we could call them just a punk-rock band, with time they realised that they had to broaden their musical influences to survive.

The script remains the same, there are 'silly' songs, reflective songs about life and social songs.

All very catchy and therefore destined for the mainstream.

It would be reductive to consider the trio out of the punk context, but it would be fair to say that over the years they have managed to evolve it and ensure that it doesn't end up being a trend of the past.

Green Day still want to make noise and have fun.
