We are in a thriller where we find themes such as domestic violence and racial prejudice.
We see all this from the opposing points of view of two detectives.
One at the beginning of her career, who has constantly faced racial and gender prejudice in her life, and with a great desire to subvert the injustices of the system.
On the other side, a detective disillusioned after years of service, always faithful to duty.
But at the same time frustrated by the opening of an old case that could uncover several truths.
The two actors, Cush Jumbo and David Capaldi, give excellent performances even if in some parts they do not seem perfectly aligned.
